Although I couldn't get a same day appointment I was offered one the following lunchtime. The staff member who dealt with my call was very helpful, knowledgeable and didn't try to up-sell or confuse me with jargon. When I arrived for my appt. both that gentleman and another staff member were very pleasant indeed. My tyre was changed without delay by a 3rd member of staff who very helpfully had delayed his lunchbreak in order to fit me in, although he didn't seem overjoyed at this I was a very happy customer indeed and I would like to thank him again. I would highly recommend Formula One Autocentres on Histon Road. Thank you all.

On 10th February 2026, I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I arrived nearly 2 hours early for my appointment because my tyre was overheating and I was genuinely concerned it could go flat if I kept driving. Instead of showing any understanding, I was refused permission to park on their premises and was told to park far away on the street. I clearly explained that my tyre was already in bad condition and that driving further could make the situation worse or even unsafe. Despite this, there was absolutely no flexibility or concern shown. To make matters worse, the reception manager was rude and dismissive. As a regular customer who has brought many new customers to them over the years, I expected at least basic courtesy and support. Instead, I was treated with no consideration at all. This experience has completely let me down. After this incident, I will not be using their services again.

Andy, the manager, was a top bloke from the initial call (fitting me in the same day) and organised someone to come and run a diagnostic on the car. Brian did a great job pricing up the things I would need done. Top blokes, definitely my new garage of choice

Chaos from start to finish. The garage said I could have 3 specific issues looked during a phone conversation, but when I got there in person, only one issue was going to be looked at, the exhaust. They then completely missed the issue with the exhast and gave me the thumbs up, despite me previously sending images of the damage to the exhaust. They then found it themselves and apologised. They then failed to contact me after the exhaust was fitted. After calling them, they were gracious enough to not request payment for the work done, which I do give them credit for. However, on the call, they suggested that I can pick up the car from the petrol station across the road at any point in the day. "How convenient!", I thought... When I get to the petrol station and request my keys, it turns out the worker there wasn't given a name for the car, so any chancer could have just walked in, seen my car parked outside and asked for the keys and the worker wouldn't have been able to ask for a name or any ID as the garage never gave him anything. They get a star for not charging the work, but from start to finish it was a disorganized mess. No idea how they operate without these proper processes in place.
