Used this garage for a few years. Always given me good service. I like the team, always friendly and professional. This time though got stung with £703 bill for rear brake pads and discs on an Evoque. Objectively way overpriced by any estimate. Never again.

Avoid. Booked a rear brake pad replacement on 26th Feb. Left the car in the workshop in the morning and was informed just before closing time that they don’t have enough staff to handle my booking. Need to go back on the following Monday 9am again for the replacement. The job took 8 hours to complete. Although the rear brake pad was replaced, the staff refused to remove the system message which says rear brake pad needs replacement. I will never recommend this shop.

Untrustworthy and very unprofessional. I booked a full service and MOT at this site for my car at 8:30 am. Got a call from them in the morning to advised me about some minor problem (including bulbs) that needed to be fixed before MOT. They mentioned as well that the brakes might need to be changed risking NOT passing the MOT. I don't know much about cars so I trusted them and told them to do what was necessary to have the MOT passed. Around 12pm I checked the gov website and saw my car with a passed MOT. There was no advisory about the brakes so I guess everything was fine. I made my way to collect the car even if I didn't get any phone call or email that my car was ready to be collected because I saw the MOT already passed. When I got there at around 2pm they told me that my car was starting to have the brakes changed and that it would take around 2 hours. Baring in mind that my MOT was passed at 12pm without any advisory about damaged brakes, I was shocked that they just started to changed them at 2pm as it wasn't necessary to do it. See attached picture with MOT and email of the time my car was ready. My complaint is about how they abuse my lack of knowledge about cars and making me feel how necessary changing the brakes were for my car to pass the MOT when it was not needed.As well the amount of money I had to pay for that wasn't necessary. I felt completely robe and financially abuse. You should be careful as the only thing they think is about getting your money in a nasty way. They are not honest and trustworthy and such behaviour are not professional at all.
