Funk & Gruven is a uniquely charming place. The owner has a good eye for quality antiques and collectibles, and REALLY knows his stuff. We've bought several pieces there in the past year and a bit, and we thought the prices were fair value for what we got. Perhaps even more importantly, we LIVE the pieces we purchased!

This shop often has great pieces. When I lived in Ontario my family bought from them, but when I emailed them from Montreal a month ago they couldn't be bothered to even return my email. I followed up, again nothing. My hope was to buy a few pieces from their website, but first I wanted to know if they delivered to Quebec. If not did they know of someone who might. It's absolutely fine, totally understandable, if they don't deliver to Quebec, or don't want the hassle of forming a working relationship with a trusted van guy in their community. But to just ignore the inquiry altogether is disrespectful. Really disappointing.
