I’ve been a long-term customer of Gates of Woodford, but after my recent experience, I can safely say I will never return. The service at this dealership has become absolutely appalling. When I first bought my car, I immediately had issues with the battery. It took them months to even acknowledge that there was a genuine problem. After pushing the issue, they finally told me the battery had been replaced under warranty and that everything had been resolved. A few months later, the exact same issue came back. When I contacted Gates of Woodford again, they claimed they had no record whatsoever of the battery ever being replaced. I was then told that, at most, the battery “might have just been charged,” completely contradicting what they assured me previously. To make matters worse, they now want to charge me over £150 just to diagnose the issue, an issue they supposedly fixed and clearly never did. After years of loyalty, I expected far better. I won't be purchasing a car from this dealership again.
