Fantastic selection of guidebooks from a wide range of places in the west. Great selection of shoes, approach, intermediate, advance, plus they've got a small consignment shop in the back. All the other climbing/canyoneering toys are also present. I've got an REI membership and opening a store around the corner from here is in very very bad taste. (Really the same building.) I highly recommend shopping here first, if only. It's OK REI has a small selection of local offerings. 🙄 Update: I am glad the owner just corrected me on the timeline. Even happier it works out well for them. I had meant to ask while there and didn't. My fault/mistake for not reaching out before posting. Thanks, Shingo.

Dude this place is baller! The staff are super knowledgeable and eager to help. The selection is great and the inventory is diverse. Definitely worth a visit for any and all climbers

From the moment you walk in this place makes you feel like family. I ended up here after a recommendation from an employee at momentum. While I was planning on buying a pair of used shoes, I ended up finding a perfect new pair on sale in my size and was beyond ecstatic. I'm new to climbing and my questions to the guys running the shop were answered and I really felt like they knew what they were talking about. To buy my harness the staff worked within my budget and gave me a bunch of advice and recommendations to help me find a fit I'm comfortable with. Everything is well priced and I think the experience I had was well worth not ordering from somewhere online.

Good prices but the real highlight was the employees. Super Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great vibes in there. If you need mountaineering gear, stay the hell out of REI and go to IME.
