My experience trying to rent a property with grid was not good. Many of the homes they have available are extremely poor maintained. We went to several self guided tours that made me certain that this company would not be someone I would ever want to rent with. The homes we toured were stinky and seemed not to have any maintenance or checking up on in many months. The first home we walked I became covered in spider webs just entering the space, it seemed like someone ripped up the carpet and just left old dirty wood floor. The second property had probably the nicest yard Ive seen in all the homes I visited. Sadly upon entering this home I literally gagged from the strong stench. It seemed like they paid a carpet cleaner to clean the carpets but then shut all ventilation instead of letting it dry out causing an intense moldy sour milk smell that is likely permanent even if the rug was replaced. When I called management no answer or response was given The last house we tried to visit had a broken keybox so we could not see the property. We called to try to report this but no answer or response, basically a waste of our time driving out there The whole experience really gave slum lord and I'd highly advise renters to stay away. The property owners letting GRID manage their properties would be better off handing the keys off to squatters in my opinion since they would probably take better care and attention to the properties
