I recently had a short ER visit at Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and was genuinely impressed with the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff worked quickly and professionally to get me checked in and evaluated. Even though the Emergency Department was busy, intake was efficient and I never felt ignored or left in the dark about what was happening next. The nurses and physicians were attentive, compassionate, and clearly experienced. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the testing they were doing, and answer my questions in a way that put me at ease. Throughout the visit, I felt like my well-being was their priority, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The facility itself was clean and well organized. While emergency departments are never fun to visit, the environment at LBJ felt orderly and calm, and it was clear that the team was focused on delivering good patient care. The medical equipment and diagnostic process felt thorough and modern enough that I had confidence in the results. One thing that stood out was the way the staff communicated each step of my visit. I was updated regularly on test results and expected wait times, and they genuinely seemed to care about my comfort and understanding. When it was time to be discharged, the doctor gave clear instructions and answered my follow-up questions without rushing. Overall, what could have been a stressful health encounter turned out to be a positive one because of the professionalism and kindness of the ER team at Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. I left feeling well cared for and grateful for how smoothly the visit went. I would recommend this hospital’s emergency department to others who need prompt, compassionate care.

I had a very good experience at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. The staff is kind, attentive, and professional. Doctors and nurses really care about their patients and explain everything clearly. It’s also great that the hospital is open 24/7, which makes it very helpful in emergencies. Thank you for the excellent care!There should be more hospitals like this. Many people don't like them because they're government-run or because they treat prisoners or homeless people, but that shouldn't matter because the care and service are first-class. 100/100
