Be aware that this company presents as "EJ Elias Tenant Placement." Had I known it was Harrisburg Property Mgmt, I would have saved $70 in application fees as I previously paid for an application through this business name. I am disabled and in need of housing for my son to help care for my medical challenges. They indicated to me that we would likely be approved to rent the home we saw, then we lost time and money when they never contacted us again. Lesson learned... ALWAYS confirm exactly who you are dealing with. Request all names that they use for business. Seeing the reviews here, I'm grateful we avoided a subpar landlord.

I moved to Pennsylvania from California. I rented a place before moving out here, and when I came out in March to furnish it, I wrote an email, to the owner, Kara Pierce, pointing out multiple things that needed attention and repairs, she cancelled my lease, and put me in a very bad situation. I was able to secure my new property with Liza at Harrisburg Property Management. Liza has been wonderful, helpful and gets back to me immediately. Then I move in, and get to meet the handy man, Randy, who is Saint sent from Heaven. He gets things done, has a great, happy attitude the whole time. Working with Amber and Chandler have been seamless. This team is on top of things and I am grateful as a home owner from California, I am being so well taken care of in a rental unit.

Where the heck do I even begin, this business sucks. I lived in their property for two years and I thank my lucky stars I never have to deal with these people again. The people you talk to are rude and oblivious. Their matenance portal is poorly operated and they cancel and complete tasks as they please and not as issues are actually fixed. I have seen better communication from a brick wall. We notified them of vacating in May and they only sent us a move out checklist 2 days before our lease is set to end, which left us with no time to actually get the specific things done. We obviously cleaned the house very thoroughly but things like hiring a professional carpet cleaner was not possible given the time frame. If you can avoid this property manager I would do it at all costs.

I wish I could give below one star. Liza extremely rude, terrible communication skills. Started to approach her on Friday through call but she would always decline call or won’t even take calls. And whenever she would feel she would communicate. We been hanging kind of in the air. Finally she called now and was extremely rude over the phone and obviously I was exhausted as well. Won’t recommend anyone to go with them. We wasted $70 as well for rental application as well. No place would ever ask you to fill application first before they show you property but they made us to fill application first and pay fees as well.
