Harrow Health Care Centre

Four generations of our family are with this GP practice, my grandparents having been patients for probably as long as the surgery has been around when the late Dr Amin was at the helm, with my mother, myself and my children all patients since birth. I can't express my gratitude to Dr Kesha Amin who is our doctor and also Dr Hamel Petal who we have seen when Dr Kesha is not available - both have been incredible support. Between us, we have gone through all manner of minor and major health issues over the years and we feel very lucky to have such a compassionate & professional doctor who has an excellent understanding of our family health history and also has a more modern approach to tackling health issues. It is a far more personable surgery than others I have experienced when briefly living in other areas of London. Yes, there are delays in appointments upon arrival sometimes but it may be that the person in front of us has a health crisis and needs a little extra time and attention - we have to factor these things in and be understanding when going for an appointment. GP's struggle with limited time which happens everywhere. As a family we are very grateful and reassured by the care we have received, knowing we are in excellent hands when the NHS is struggling and running a busy GP surgery must been a huge (and sometimes thankless) challenge. Thank you also to the receptionists and practice managers for their efficiency.

I left my job today to attend to my blood test appointment, but when I go to the gp there was only one person working, no reception was there my appointment past, and I had to go in and knock in every door until a lady came out, and she told me the doctor is sick and we try to call but there was a laying, and she try when I was there to call my number and the ring came in at first . Even though they could have sent me a message to say we have cancelled your appointment because the doctor is sick , but they don't do they job properly, and this effect people's life. Irresponsible staf. And now I have to wait an other 2 weeks for a new appointment even though I waited for 3 weeks to come to this point.

Don’t join this place they haven’t got a clue. They called me and booked me an appointment I turned up sat around for 40 min with 5 other people 2 of which had the same time as me and the best bit the staff was not even there. What a joke. If you knew that the nurse was running late wouldn’t it have been appropriate to inform your client that is the case. The surgery called me twice that morning to confirm I was attending my appointment for 14:01.
