Dangerous! Have had two experiences where the staff have been extremely casual and negligent about patient care. Once it was the receptionist who casually forgot to book my Dexa scan that can have a 2.5 month waiting time (at the time) and my diagnosis was going to be delayed by 5 months and now a so called doctor casually deferred me to a telephone conversation with a nurse when I approached them for a repeat test due to ABNORMAL FIT test and urine test that showed traces of blood. The is how my 40% tax and NI is being used!

Abigail was a real angel today. Looking after my 93 year old mother but also with myself as we were experiencing problems with social services to do with my mother’s care. Her care and compassion was second to none.

If I could leave zero stars I would. They give you such an unnecessary attitude on the phone it really threw me. I will also add that the reception team of this establishment were extremely unprofessional talking about their cost of living and household projects for the entire waiting room to endure through. I had a very brief appointment with with Dr N Bakhtiari. The whole experience felt robotic and lacked compassion. He didn’t even look at me the entire appointment, I felt like I was on a conveyer belt. I told him my struggles and the things I was going through and I found him incredibly abrupt and unable to come up with any good advice. I left the appointment crying my eyes out. I’ve had a similar experience with another doctor here. They lack empathy and are extremely rude and just want you out quicker than you came in and this is where our taxes go? It’s unbelievable. Stay away from this place.

I recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting GP Direct for blood tests, where I was greeted—if one could call it that—by a receptionist named Blanca. Her demeanor was about as warm as a British summer. While I appreciate the numerous posters reminding patients to be courteous to NHS staff (quite right, indeed), it seems the memo hasn't made its way behind the reception desk. Perhaps management might consider investing in some customer service training, rather than simply copy-pasting responses to Google reviews? I do wonder if my appearance or background influenced the quality of service, though I'd hate to speculate. As a taxpayer contributing to this delightful establishment, one rather expects basic courtesy—revolutionary concept, I know. To management: Actions speak louder than automated review responses. A dash of civility costs nothing, unlike your staff training budget, which I presume exists somewhere.
