The Labor and Delivery/Motherhood nurses are truly remarkable! It was my first time having a baby and everyone was so kind and explained everything to me step-by-step. There were a few complications that had arisen, but I wasn't too worried because everyone took such good care of me and my little one ❤️ it really put me and my husband's heart at ease! Thank you Hendrick's nurses for all your love and support and making my hospital visit a pleasant one 😊

I had a decompression fusion done January 19 and with past experience and heard experience from others I was nervous of this stay. But from the moment I walked in the door I truly felt cared for. From the neuro monitor team, I wish I could remember her name. She really took the edge off and was able to laugh and get to know her and her job. To the anesthesia team and Dr. Armstrong. His nurse noticed I seemed nervous and I don't remember much prior to surgery after the cocktail and prayer she gave me. The nurses who took care of me in recovery, THANK YOU, that was the most painful moment of my life. Yall are troopers and angels with 💉 To all the staff I encountered on P5! Thank you for your care and compassion. Transport, CT, Lab. And Dr. Trammell!! I couldn't have picked a better surgeon. He's so knowledgeable and always willing to talk things through so I understood everything from beginning to end, no false expectations. Thank yall all that i encountered during my stay!

If you are fortunate enough to have had a good experience with Hendrick Hospital in Abilene- then consider yourself lucky. I had no intentions of leaving a bad review about my experience at Hendrick, but after reaching out to Hendrick Hospital to see if they would help to make things right- via their "Patient Relations" department- I feel that i need to share this review about how bad their customer service is. If you contact their Patient Relations Department, they will be nice to you on the phone and even send you an official letter saying they are investigating your complaint, and they will follow up with you in 30 days. The only problem is that their "investigation" does NOT involve anyone from the hospital contacting you about your experience or concerns. They simply look at their notes and records and then reply back to you with a generic response about how they are sorry, but they feel like you received the appropriate level of care- without even asking you about it. After that they send you a letter to inform you they are closing out your complaint / case and that is the end of the discussion as far as they are concerned. If you have the opportunity to get medical help somewhere else, I would encourage you to do so.
