Henry Ford Same Day Care - Detroit Northwest

They are no longer open on Sunday. Please change your hours on Google to reflect that. I just drove up here on a sprained foot for no reason. Why isn’t any HF urgent care open on Sundays? HF please treat your staff better and make it worth their time to work on Sundays.

I just spoke with a receptionist at 3:26. I forgot the name she said but I know you guys can pull up my records and see who accessed them. I called because I simply need a covid test. I have all the symptoms but my at home test said negative. I work in a school and need to know if I'm okay to go back to work this week or not. The receptionist told me in order to get a covid test Id have to see my primary doctor. My primary doctor has been booked out for 3 months, so I can't see her. I explained this to the receptionist. I told her I have been seeing different doctors for the past few years because my primary doctor is always booked and moved a few cities over. I asked if I could just come there, she said I could but I'd have to establish a primary doctor at this location. I said I was willing to do that, then she said it would take 20 to 30 days to be seen there. I told her I needed help finding someone to see before then, because I won't be sick 20 days from now. I asked her if she could tell me a close location that has openings before then, she told me I'd have to call around. I asked her if she could look at other offices and let me know, because I've been with Henry Ford for a long time and they can usually tell me who has openings. She said she could only see her schedule. I KNOW that's a lie because I've been with Henry Ford for like 20 years, my mom worked there as a receptionist for 10! So when it was clear she just didn't want to help me I called the Dearborn location. When I gave the lady in Dearborn my information, she told me that what the receptionist in Detroit wasn't right and that they could've swabbed me. She told me they have a 4:30 appointment available! I told her the lady in Detroit said they can't see other locations schedule and I knew that was a lie, because I've always had people tell me various locations and their open appointments. I told her I rather not go to Detroit after being treated like that, and she scheduled me for Dearborn first thing in the morning WITHOUT having to switch my primary care doctor. Why is your staff lying to people for no reason? I wasn't rude or short with her until I told her thanks for nothing when she refused to help. I'm sick and instead of heading to the doctors I'm typing this long review. Is this how you all help your patients? It took the same amount of time to lie as it wouldve took to help me. She was either a liar, lazy or incompetent. Who are you all hiring now days?

I visited the walk-in clinic today and I was pleasantly impressed by the service. I had a 11:59 online Appt. I arrived 10 min earlier and signed in. It took about 25 minutes before I was called into the exam room. The tech was pleasant and through. Dr. Ross was also pleasant and explained my diagnoses and treatment. The nurse had to give me a shot in the hip and she did an excellent job-no-pain😌!
