Hilton Saint John

A friend and I went for the breakfast buffet at the Hilton Saint John and the staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful, Chris at the front desk was all smiles and gave a warm welcome. Ben, the head chef not only came to check on guests personally, but also checked the buffet and accommodated our needs and went the extra mile to ensure our breakfast was perfect. The food was excellent, the server was friendly and helpful, and overall was an excellent experience. Will be back to enjoy again. Highly recommend as a great and affordable spot for breakfast with a wide selection on the buffet.

Another long stay at the Hilton Saint John, our home away from home. We visit this hotel once a year for a long period and this time I stayed 3 months.|I could never imagine myself staying anywhere else in Saint John. We had a corner room up on the 10th floor where you could see the entire Bay and part of the town. Big room, comfortable bed and good wifi. Our view was spectacular! I loved watching all the cruise ships come in and out of the harbour, so entertaining! |The location is marvelous, you are close to shops and fantastic restaurants.||The staff really makes this hotel feel like home for us, they all know us by name and treat us like family. Every morning I went for my morning coffee and the ladies at the restaurant greeted me with a smile, even when they were super busy. Shana was so lovely and always made sure I was catered for.||Our housekeepers always did their best to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Kim was so personable and I loved our chats every time she would come do our room.||Down at the front desk they are very attentive to our laundry and package delivery, Mike, Chris and the whole team! what a bunch!||Thank you again for another great stay!

First - THE STAFF WERE FABULOUS!! My 1st room had absolutely zero visibility or view due to windows being 100% covered in dirt and condensation on the outside (I paid extra for a view) and the room had a strong very musty smell. They offered a free breakfast but I said no. The second room was better, although maintenance had to repair a broken toilet. The wallpaper was peeling off some of the walls and the vinyl coating on the headboard was peeling off. No laundry on hotel site despite website stating so - laundry could be sent out in the morning at $ per pound plus $20 delivery for return later that night (that is pretty expensive for one load of laundry!). Hotel charged a $75 security deposit PER NIGHT ($450 in my case). The guide button on the TV did not work. I called desk for help to use the remote and was advised they didn’t have a TV package for guide use. I asked about the Pay Per View and Movies on Demand as advertised on the website - I was told they didn’t have that either. Parking was $25 per nite but it was not at the hotel. I booked this hotel for specific amenities due to a month long travel in the Maritimes. Very disappointed!! I would not recommend this hotel!
