Hokkaido is a great spot for Japanese food in Southampton. There’s so much choice on the menu so I could have ordered sooo much more. The sushi was really good and the decoration inside is so pretty too! Definitely worth a visit if you’re a sushi/Japanese fan.

Came here for dinner on NYE. Service was excellent throughout, very welcoming and our server was lovely and attentive. Food was very good. We had the crunchy special roll and the surf n turf roll which were both so tasty and unique. The miso ramen was excellent too, broth was delicious and full of flavour. Don’t skip on the homemade lemonades because the lychee one was amazing! Will definitely be back!

We came to this restaurant on a Friday evening around 8pm as walk-ins, and they were incredibly welcoming and happy to seat us at the last minute. The food was great, the staff were lovely, and everything was beautifully presented. We really enjoyed our time here. Prices were pretty standard for sushi, and we’d definitely come again.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Hokkaido Japanese & Ramen, and it was honestly one of the most romantic and memorable dining experiences we had.🤍 Our servers were so sweet, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They checked on us regularly without ever being intrusive, making the whole evening feel relaxed and effortless. This is what we had ⭐️ For our drinks: • Lemonade (a must try btw!) • Yuzu Iced Tea For our starter: • Chicken Karaage For our main Dishes: • Prawn Maki • Tonkotsu Ramen • Yaki Udon Chicken Katsu And lastly, for our dessert: • Matcha Crepe To make the night even more special, after we paid, they surprised me with a rose. Such a thoughtful and romantic gesture that truly made the evening unforgettable. This was our first time dining at Hokkaido Japanese & Ramen, and it definitely won’t be our last. 🤍✨
