Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital

My gallbladder pain ended up being a Month long hospital stay. I went in for pain and was admitted, the team on my case was great and they did what they could. I ended up needing surgery. Spent a whole night sick to my stomach and vomiting every 2 min for a total of 24 hours. Nurses reached out to the Drs but they didn’t want to give me anything cause I was scheduled for surgery. Ended up making it to surgery. Never met my surgeon nor did they come check on me. Ended up with complications and infections. And to this day still don’t exactly know what happened to me. That being said, My nurses, house keeping, and Chaplin, and some of the drs were amazing and they really did take care of me and made me feel valued and cared for. I’m forever thankful for them and I will never forget those kind souls who cared for me when I was violently ill.

I just want to thank Carolyn from the ER, I hope I spelled her name correctly, she was AMAZING!! She was down to earth, funny and very comforting. She is an amazing and caring nurse and she is the nurse you would want even when you are feeling down or sick. Her personality brings so much peace and calming to an already hectic environment. I also would like to say Felix AKA Lamont was amazing and funny as well. He has a very chill personality but in a very good way. These nurses were amazing and decreased my anxiety severely. I also would like to say thank you to the amazing NP Kathleen. Thank you for listening to me and taking my concerns seriously when other ER's didn't and because you cared and listened you helped me get the help I have been begging other ER's to do which was help me. But the other ER's just kept giving me random ABT and pain meds without any real interventions and I can't appreciate you all enough. Thank you all so much. Now I can start to heal correctly instead of being given random ABT without a dx. Please you 3 stay amazing, and understanding. If no one tells you, you all matter, you made a difference and I can't say thank you enough!!!! (Your osteo, mandible pt)🤣🤣

Huge shoutout to the amazing nurses and staff at Methodist Baytown — y’all took such great care of my family, and I’m beyond grateful. Big thanks to the doctors and case managers too for pointing us to ClearSky Health Rehab when it was time for discharge. We’ve only been here a few days, and my mom is already up and walking! It’s been incredible. The best part? We still have the same doctors from Methodist here at ClearSky, which has made the whole transition so much smoother. Seriously — thank you, thank you, thank you!
