Customer experiences
I've been to this hospital for imaging and a an ER patient and highly recommend this facility. The people here have been kind on each of my visit but this recent visit was my longest stay. I'm so incredibly thankful for the care I received this post week. Noemi in the ER was spectacular! She was calm but moved with purpose and she was super kind. Her calm demeanor and steady voice was reassuring in such a high stress situation, she seemed very experienced! Hedi and Neal in the ICU were a delight! I'm so thankful to have been in their care! They were both personable and great caretakers! They were thoughtful and really made my time there pleasant. Thank you to the rock stars that were there for me, from the check in lady that identified a need for quickness, the people who got my IVs in and everyone else along the way that I didn't get a name for, you really are a great team there!
My experience here with momma Carolyn was so excellent the nurse staff Miriam and Cherry was awesome they went above and beyond care for mom. The best part is they said it was their job this isbery rare from my recent experiences at other hospitals this hasn't happened people are very rushed and non caring. Not this crew and this hospital service is e excellent
On January 14, 2026 I had a heart cath at the Cath Lab of Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. From the the time I entered the hospital and checked in, until the time I checked out I was treated with utmost respect. The check in at the Cath Lab with Dee and MO excellent. My RN Nurse Jordan, a complete WINNER! A very caring, compassionate nurse. Absolutely fantastic! To the Cath Lab itself Doug, Jennifer, Sidney, and Chrissy all absolutely, all fantastic, and WINNERS! Dr. Paul Cunningham who administered the test the Greatest, and of course , a WINNER. There are not enough stars that can be registered, wrote on paper, neither in the Heavens above that can be given to these!
I want to publicly commend Dr. Haren at Methodist Hospital for doing what no other facility or provider did during an extremely difficult and prolonged medical crisis. My husband had been on long-term psychiatric medications for decades. Over the course of nearly two months, he was admitted to multiple facilities, including Hickory Trails (DeSoto), Medical City Health (Frisco), Aspire (Conroe), Baylor-affiliated care, and Ennis Medical Center. Despite our repeated attempts to get help, his condition continued to escalate, and he was placed through unnecessary suffering. What made Dr. Haren different was basic but critical medical common sense. He reviewed my husband’s full medication history and, most importantly, chose to contact me directly when my husband was too confused to accurately advocate for himself. That single decision changed everything. I am not a physician, nor do I run a hospital, so I am not writing this to assign blame. I am writing to bring awareness. Long-term psychiatric medications require careful research, continuity, and collaboration with family when cognition is impaired. Methodist Hospital and Dr. Haren did what no one else did, they slowed down, looked at the full picture, and treated the situation responsibly. This crisis should never have escalated to this level, and I am deeply grateful that someone finally intervened correctly. If you are a caregiver, ask questions, stay involved, and do not assume all hospitals or doctors approach psychiatric medication management the same way. Dr. Haren was, quite literally, a lifesaver.
Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital is a general hospital.
