Watch out for these doctors that push death pills. It is widely known that most diuretics cause diabetes by swelling the pancreas and not allowing it to release insulin. Yet there are two really good diuretics that actually help lower A1C. Yet these doctors would not put me on them. The best patients are the ones that return with more problems! After being told I was having heart failure, and my BP was high do you think they would get me a dose of my BP meds? Nope let me lay in the ER for 5 hours without my medicine as my BP was high. To top it off, the directions on my after care paper work had me taking 40mg of the diuretic twice a day and then the same pill once a day. So that would taking three pills that cause diabetes in one day. I looked up the daily dose limit for that diuretic and it is set at…40mg a day! They literally almost made me OVERDOSE on that one pill by 80mg! ER floor was filthy. ER waiting room smelled like someone had just smoked up. ER doctor was Mr. Know it All. Dude, so you have a degree! Looks great on your mom’s wall! But anyone can look this stuff up and see what the drug does and what all side effects it has and what clinical trials were done. Your degree just tells me you recited what the professor said so the medical establishment would know you’d kill who they told you to kill.

I know that an individual's experience determines how they feel about a place. My father was admitted and spent 4 days there. I have never seen a more attentive staff. There was not one single thing that wasn't top shelf. Even the food was delicious. From his nurses to the doctors and everything in between, they were on it. Now I know why my mom wanted to go there and no place else. I am a native and was born at the old hospital in 1957.

Waited an hour to get seen for a head Laceration that was bleeding semi heavy which resulted in staples. The staff wasn’t as friendly as needed to be. It was extremely frigid in there. Not to mention the restroom I used had feces on the toilet seat. It felt unsanitary and didn’t smell as a hospital should. The nurses didn’t take the vitals as they should. The doctor that was assigned to me didn’t do the proper check up to make sure I didn’t have a concussion nor if my Pupils reacted to light. I am highly disappointed in the care I received.

Nurses and Therapy teams were great!! Admissions/Socialworker team was horrible. Our father had surgery here and unfortunately was not able to go directly home afterwards. We start the process the day after surgery to find a skilled nursing home for him to go too. 1st. It took the staff 30 hours to respond to us. 2. We gave them 3 preferred skilled nursing homes for him to be sent too. 24 hours later they said they had not had any response and stated we would have to open the search to all available reluctantly we said ok. 3. The day before he was transferred they said if he's not transferred by 9 pm, he wouldn't be transferred until following day. 4. The next morning went we to hospital to see how he was doing, to our surprise he was not their. 5. The security/information desk had no record of him being there or where he was, when I asked to go up and check his room they wouldn't permit it. 6. Finally a one of staff came out to help us, they proceed to tell us he was transferred at 2 am in the morning. 7. We never received a phone call that he was being transferred. 8. When I arrived at nursing home they said this was 2nd time this hospital had done this to them . BEWARE THAT THIS DOSEN'T HAPPEN TO YOUR LOVE ONE!!!
