Alan and Rachel, in particular, go above and beyond to help beginners feel comfortable and confident on the mats. They take the time to break down techniques clearly, answer questions without hesitation, and create a positive atmosphere where everyone feels included. Since coming to canada after training in Brazil since 2011 this is by far my favourite gym to train at. The instructors are extremely kind and welcoming. Looking forward to continuing my training with Karma. Highly recommend for adults and children , the community they have built is excellent.

I must say I was looking for a gym for my daughter in the area and at first didnt think much because it was new and quite. Shortly after the gym grew quickly and very positive. The community here has been the best and so heart warming. Have made really great friends for my daughter, and for myself. Parents are amazing, and that is just the icing on the top. My daughter about a year ago started jujitsu. Never done it before. And now she loves it. The coaches and the kids have made the environment so welcoming that my daughter has started to ask me to go 6 days a week now. She will be graduating to a new belt (level) soon. And its been an amazing challenge for her. I admire my daughter strength and courage since she started and weather she loses or wins she has never backed down. Her confidence has been amazing. Thank you Karma for building this community.

Steve Dion’s approach to teaching Jiu-Jitsu is truly exceptional. He has an innate ability to connect with kids, making even the most challenging techniques seem achievable. My kids always felt comfortable in his classes because he fosters an atmosphere of respect and encouragement. His patience is remarkable—never rushing the kids but instead giving them the time they need to fully grasp the skills. Steve not only helped my kids become more skilled in Jiu-Jitsu, but also taught them important life lessons like perseverance, teamwork, and discipline. He is an inspiring and thoughtful coach, and we feel fortunate to have had him as a mentor.
