I’m genuinely shocked that Baptist Health Corbin only has a 2.7-star rating! My family and I have been coming here for years, and this hospital has consistently exceeded our expectations. From broken backs and shattered shins to appendix and spleen removals, we’ve been through it all—surgeries, recoveries, you name it—and the staff has always been phenomenal. The doctors, nurses, and entire team are compassionate, professional, and efficient, getting us in and out with care and precision. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Baptist Health Corbin, for being a reliable and wonderful healthcare provider!

I came through the emergency room and they got me back immediately. They were very friendly and helped me quickly. I ended up needing surgery and that team was great as well. They took excellent care of me.

Brought my husband to the emergency room, we were checked in and taken to a room in a timely manner. The nurse came in and hooked him to the heart machine and blood pressure/vital machine. The doctor came in one time the whole 3 and a half hours we sat there, he ordered labs and an EKG. A shift change took place around 3 hours in, and the new nurse brought in discharge papers, the kicker is, we never seen the doctor again to discuss any findings on the labs/tests, and my husband had questions. The new nurse we had said she’d find him because she had no idea, due to her just arriving. My husband was still hooked to the machine with monitors and a blood pressure cuff, but was brought discharge papers with no answers and not a single word from the doctor. Very disappointed, as I’m still sitting with him 4 hours later and no sign of a nurse or a doctor; we have discharge papers but can’t leave because he’s still hooked to the machines. Terrible experience and overall poor care.

I drove over an hour to be seen at this emergency room. I had been to my doctor 3 times over the past week and a half and they didn't know what was wrong with me. The ER was packed however I got seen in a timely matter. They done blood work, X-ray, and a cat scan. They found out I had pneumonia and rhino virus. The nurses, doctors, ER technicians and everyone else was so nice and so caring. I was amazed!!!! I appreciate every single one of you. You listened to me and didn't stop until you found out what was wrong. This staff CARES. Thank you all so much. I wish I could put into words how great you all treated me.
