Great hospital to give birth at! I had my baby there in august and all of the nurses in labor in delivery were so nice and very accommodating of my needs! The guy who did my epidural was tido and he did an amazing job! Didn’t feel a thing as he was doing it not even pressure. One of the nurses let me hug her while I was contracting as he was doing my epidural which made me feel a lot better because I was so scared. Doctor Alecia Fields delivered my baby and she was so great too, she listened to what I wanted and didn’t give me an unnecessary episiotomy which has happened to all of my family. I tore but barely and had a VERY easy recovery like I was up walking around the day I gave birth. The nurses in postpartum were more stern but still really nice! My favorite was Conn (I don’t think I spelled that right) she is like a baby guru she knew everything about babies, and treated my newborn with care. Lab was a little rude, they seemed upset when I was trying to feed my baby because they needed to do labs but I guess that’s understandable. Overall 10/10 experience would definitely give birth here again!
I recently had to go the the E.R. due to severe pain in my abdomen. I was seen very quickly in the E.R. Everyone there was amazing. So kind to me knowing I was in pain. I was admitted to the hospital that morning. I stayed for 3 days before being released. During my stay I had the most wonderful nurses that truly cared about me and took care of me. The Dr. that was on duty checked on me frequently. They figured out what was going on with me, got me on the correct medication and I got to go home healthy. All my nurses were amazing, have to shoutout to Jamie Glover and Crystal (didnt get last name) Thank you!
I went to the ER there, never had been there before. The front desk girl and triage nurse were excellent. It was a nightmare. When I was taken back by a young lady to one of their exam cubicles, she looked at me and said, “you can sit on the bed or chair, whichever one is the most comfortable.” She left. I laid down on the gurney because I was sick, that’s why I went there. My blood pressure in triage was extremely high for me. Never saw anyone for almost two hours. They never came in to put any type of monitors on me, ask me to change into a gown, NOTHING! Then a nurse popped in, I told her I needed to use the restroom, she gave me a cup for lab catch. I went to the restroom and came out the nurse was gone, so I left my specimen sitting on the table behind me. Finally a lab tech came in and drew labs. About 15 minutes later a PA came in and told me what I already knew and said he was ordering a CT. I asked him something for pain, he told me he would get me something. I went and had the CT done, the young lady that transported me was so much more professional than any of them. She even offered me a warm blanket. Well….another hour or so passed didn’t see anyone or nothing for pain, not even a drop of water. Then finally the PA came back and said he was going to give me something for pain. This person, I don’t know what you would call him came in to give me a shot for pain. Never in my life have I ever had a shot administered like that. He stabbed me with the needle, actually stabbed, and pushed it about as deep as he could. If I could have reached back, I probably would’ve slapped him. It hurt so bad. He said it was a toradol shot. It never touched my pain. He only added to it. The PA came back and asked if it helped, I told him no. A few minutes later, a little nurse came in and gave me an antibiotic and another shot on the other hip. Then I was discharged to go home. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to go there unless they are ready to die and need someone to pronounce them. It’s a horrible excuse for a hospital.
