LEGITimately the worst property management company in Hagerstown. I own a property next door to two apartments they own and operate. The last tenants were so miserable they finally managed to leave after repeated issues including MOLD that was never addressed until they moved out (presumably). I had to personally call the city on behalf of my elderly neighbor to try to get him some help. Now they have new tenants who have repeatedly called to get concrete steps fixed, to no avail. One is elderly and was nervous every time he had to use the steps. This is just wrong. My husband and I finally fixed it for them on OUR dime because not only did it make our street look rundown, it posed serious risk. To think of trying to get them to cover reimbursement would be a fool’s errand. They simply do not care about their tenants. Avoid at all costs.

Worst property management company ever in business. Mice throughout apartment hours, no hot water from shower, lawn not mowed for over a month at a time. No follow up to needed repairs. Look for my Better Business Bureau review shortly! Trying to pay rent for over a month and no one's available! Don't take the chance! I'll stay until the end of February but not pay the last month! I know that my pole is only so big, baby! Sue me and let me know if I show up in court. Put it on my credit rating?

I lived at one of their properties for 1 year they told me they wouldn’t renew my lease due to building renovations however they didn’t rennovate the building me and my child had to live in a mice infested house my fridge leaked inside and out my outlet cover came off my porch had no safety and should of been fined for the damage and unsafe and unstable ! Then when I went to return the keys they wanted me to drop them In a lock box they are slum lords and don’t want to fix nothing ! I was never late on rent payment and I have a special needs child not to mention I was going to stay and rent witb them but Traci never showed up when she said she was going to show me another unit no call no text no email nothing ! I definitely will be seeking legal action they also had my old apartment rented out in 2 weeks after I moved ! I shall see y’all in court cause you will not get away with this at all

I am not sure why my initial review did not get posted. I want to be clear from the get-go here and state that I am giving them two stars rather than 0 because they did let me out of my lease and returned my security deposit and first months' rent. However, it does not erase the trauma and financial difficulty that my brief time in this apartment brought me. I moved in on March 5 2022 and all was well at first. The building and location were beautiful. I went to bed early on the first day after a long and tiring day of moving. On the second day I stayed up a bit later watching television when I noticed a bug creeping down the ceiling. It was a bedbug. I spent quite a long time googling and panicking as I'd never encountered one before and I did not know what I was in for. I left a message with the management's answering service at approx. midnight as I was still up in a panic. It was nigh impossible to get into contact with anybody, but inexplicably they returned calls to a relative of mine, which felt a bit unprofessional. Why were they communicating with her and not me? I was calling and contacting via facebook. Due to my severe anxiety and other chronic health conditions I ended up hospitalized as the sheer stress of the situation caused a flareup that prevented me from keeping any food or drink down. I spent two days in hospital before I was able to return 'home' and continue this ongoing fight. I was prescribed antihistamines as I am allergic to the bites and I had several infected wounds from scratching. An exterminator was sent in to inspect and he assured me that this was an existing problem, that the bugs did not come with me (for which i had been accused), and that they must have been coming from units above me. I warned my next door neighbor and the downstairs neighbor as well. They were incredibly polite people, they made my stay there a bit more bearable. Finally after two weeks I was let out of the lease. I arranged a heat treatment that I was required to pay for out of pocket, for well over a thousand dollars. I left that same day. All things considered, if you want to rent from this company, I recommend inspecting the building very closely and also talking with neighbors. I have learned a number of lessons and will not be renting again.
