Had to come to the famous Restaurant Gordon Ramsay as the first time in London. The service from beginning to end was excellent. Every dish was delicious on the prestige tasting course. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Decor isnt the modern elegant style but it was still classy and clean. Very expensive dinner but i think for a rare occasion, it was worth the experience. They go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your dinner.

I was genuinely excited to finally try a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the anticipation. The food wasn't bad by any means—just underwhelming for the price and the name behind it. Nothing we ordered truly stood out or impressed our group. The lobster was probably the highlight, though even that felt a bit underwhelming. The raspberry dessert, however, was a hit—beautifully presented and delicious.

This restaurant does not deserve three Michelin stars. I have been to Per Se, Daniel, Joel Robuchon, and many other Michelin star restaurants, but never was I served an undercooked, bland, main course. The fish I received was surrounded by hot liquid, but raw and cold in the center. My wife’s fish on the other hand was cooked through and through and looked great. When I pointed it out to them, they simply asked if I wanted another one. That’s what you would expect at a fast food joint, but not a three Michelin star restaurant. This place clearly has the stars because of Gordon’s fame. Not worth the price and definitely not worth three stars. Attached are photos of the fish I couldn’t finish because it was rubbery, cold, and raw. Truly disgusting. The only thing offered for my meal was another fish dish, after I was grossed out by it. Unprofessional, and not worthy of praise.

The staff were absolutely exceptional and the service was flawless—easily the highlight of the evening. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, as expected at this level. However, the food itself was surprisingly underwhelming. We tried both the carte blanche and the prestige menu. The duck, for example, was bland, and the shiitake XO completely overpowered the dish with salt. The flavor pairings felt off, and despite quality ingredients, there was no “wow” moment. Honestly, it felt like the chef wasn’t in the kitchen that night. It’s a lovely, intimate setting, and the name sets very high expectations—but the culinary experience didn’t meet them. For a £750 dinner for two, the food simply didn’t deliver. It felt more like a one-star evening riding on a three-star brand. I shared my feedback openly with the staff, and I don’t usually write reviews like this—but I wish I’d seen one before booking. Maybe we were just unlucky, but at this level, consistency should never be a gamble.
