I really love the Les Charter YMCA. The staff here are always so friendly & helpful with their smiles. There’s a good range of equipment & plenty of classes for all ages (kids, adults, and seniors all finding something that works for them.) What makes this Y special is the sense of community. It’s right next to the library, which is so convenient. They often organize wonderful charity events that bring people together for a good cause. It’s more than just a place to exercise. I find this is a place where people support each other, grow healthier, and have fun. Its like a family. 🥰 I’m really grateful to have this YMCA in our community!

I hate to write bad reviews but unfortunately this must be brought to potential clients’ attention. My daughter, 4, attended swimming lessons with the YMCA. No complaints there - the instructors were all friendly, knowledgeable, and I fully trusted them with my young daughter in the pool. The issue arose with one of the managers of the pool. My daughter was with her instructor when the manager came up to them and yelled at the instructor in front of the kids. My daughter did not even understand what the manager was yelling for… maybe something small like bringing a backpack on deck. All she knew is that this manager was yelling at her instructor and using disrespectful language. Please, YMCA, do not yell at employees in front of the kids. Issues can be fixed in a professional and calm manner.

Nice facility with polite staff. Cat's aquafit class is intense and the best I've been to! I wish the schedule had intense waterfit classes Tuesday-Thursday mornings that non-retired people could attend before work.

When I moved to Dundas, I cancelled My membership... Figured I'd find a place on the main drag. Then I had to sign back up again because there's no gym as good as this one in all of Hamilton. So I signed back up and take the 23-25 minute drive. Definitely worth it!
