First steak after pregnancy and giving birth. Well worth the wait to have this, juicy, melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection steak. We had the rib on the bone to share, which gives the option for 3 sides with it and 2 pots of peppercorn sauce. Very substantial portion sizing and worth the price, which comparatively was cheaper than a lot of other steak houses we have been too. What I didn’t know is they also give a fresh salad, mushrooms, tomatoes and oven roasted garlic cloves. This was a nice surprise and being able to squeeze out the roasted garlic over the steak.. pure heaven. Thank you to the team there for such a warm and welcoming atmosphere too. The bar looked stocked filled with choices and we saw some cocktails being made, which all looked professionally done. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and presented well. I think they’ve moved since we last went a few years ago to next door, which give the restaurant such a bigger presence! Parking wise, lots of places to park either on the road or in a car park less than 2 minutes away. We parked across the bridge for EV charging - this was only a 8 minute easy walk, though be warned you need to go over a bridge which can be hard when you’re very full haha

Perfect way to spend valentine's! 55£ set menu and immediately went for the fillet steak. Perfectly cooked and tender 👌🏻 love the generous portion size and the customer service was excellent. We also had the opportunity to experience romantic live music for the valentine's eve. Thanks!

It was all okay. Just nothing special. I know that a rare steak calls very quickly, but I should’ve sent it back to be heated up again. Maybe I should order a medium rare next time. The plate was cold though, and it was under seasoned. The peppercorn sauce was okay, and everything was better with a little salt. For the Price though, I just hoped for more, especially ordering a small fillet – the meat wasn’t perfect either.. the patrons were also okay. Sorry that I ate the steak before I thought to take a photo, but it was already pretty cold. The Montepulciano was good..
