I wanted to share my excellent experience I had at this location. There is an employee named Kyle Wilson who gave exceptional customer service. I am a first time fish owner and had no idea where to begin. His level of expertise and knowledge was outstanding. He was very patient and helpful. You can tell he takes great pride in helping clients understand., and he has a passion for what he does. This location is clean and all of the staff were pleasant and attentive. I recommend this location for all of your needs.

multiple exotic animals being sold here were in obvious terrible condition and desperately need to see vets. a mouse with huge open wounds on his head is apparently known about by the employees but nothing has been done. he is still being displayed on the sales floor as well. employees very obviously need to be trained on how to properly care for their animals. i don’t normally leave reviews for places but this is just plain animal neglect and abuse, i had to say something.

I am from NY and have been bringing dogs to PetSmart in NY for 15 years. I’ve brought my new puppy (currently 8 months; who has been going to camp since she was 4 months old) to the Columbia PetSmart twice. Both times I was lied to or not told about “policies” (that don’t exist in any other PetSmart I’ve brought either of my dogs to) resulting in my dog being left in a crate for 5-8 hours straight without so much as a phone call. I will never bring a dog here again. They have terrible communication and employees who lie to my face. (I know I was lied to as other people affiliated with PetSmart told me they got a different story than I did when they called to find out what happened.)

After searching for years for a good groomer, I finally found Ms. Kim. She is AMAZING and is patient yet quick with my 13 year old Toy schnauzer, Gianna! I drive an hour and twenty minutes every 8 weeks, she is worth every second! Only negative, Petsmart keeps raising their prices, almost $50 just for toenail trim and gland squeezing, plus tip!
