Had a terminal drop off shipment on 10/10/2024. Received excellent service from manager Courtney and his team. He even called me to make sure I was still coming by. I built my two pallets in my Uhaul Truck near the forklift ramp. Driver was also very courteous. The terminal was very clean and yard well kept. You could tell that the manger, Courtney took pride in doing a good job for his customers.

I was to receive a shipment on a Friday, which was needed for the following Monday. Florence terminal misconstrued a note on shipment that stated "Call office when driver is on his way." with an appointment only requirement. I have received 20-30 shipments prior with the same note on shipments, never an issue and no appointment needed. Called the Terminal to find out where my shipment was, was told I was about to receive a call to set up an appointment. That was at 3 pm on Friday afternoon!! Gentleman in charge of dispatch was not helpful in the least, and took no responsibility at all. I hope my shipment arrives Monday, but dispatch didn't seem too interested in making sure that happened. What are we paying for? Never an issue with R&L or even Estes. Will being using them exclusively. I have notified our shipper and they will not use Saia again after this experience.
