I had a bunionectomy this morning, and the customer service was excellent from check-in until I was rolled out in a wheelchair to go home. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. A special thank-you to Sharon, my pre-op nurse, who was absolutely wonderful — she kept me calm, checked my vitals, and made sure I had everything I needed before surgery. I truly appreciate the care and attention I received! Thank you for making my experience such a positive one!

Having worked in Healthcare for over 20 years, I can honestly say that I am not the easiest patient to impress, especially when it comes to patient care and provider bedside manner, as I have very HIGH expectations for any providers that care for me (I go above and beyond for my patients, so I know what amazing patient care looks and feels like)... Recently I had an out patient surgery at Luminis Health DCMC, this was my first time ever being to this facility and I did not know what to expect, and honestly, I did not have very high expectations due to my previous experiences with Luminis Healthcare staff... But to my absolute amazment, I have to give credit where credit is due... My experience with the Out Patient Surgery Center at DCMC was one of the BEST healthcare experiences I have ever had!!! Every person I came in contact with was respectful and knowledgeable in their work field. They all had amazing bedside manner and just went above an beyond to take care of my needs and to comfort me during a very stressful time. I am BEYOND impressed and grateful for their amazing patient care!! l have had many surgeries in my life and have been cared for by many healthcare professionals, and this most recent experience with DCMC's staff will forever be the most memorable. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for your patient care needs!!! Thank you for giving me the BEST out patient surgery expense I have had in my life 💯🥰🙏 My only recommendation... YOU NEED MORE PATIENT PARKING!!! That part was a nightmare 😬🤷‍♀️

April 23, 2025- I visited my play-sister today at Doctors Community Hospital ( Luminus) around 11am. The parking lot outside was full, has to ride around several times until someone moved. The sign in station had two nice greeters! I got my visitor badge after showing my ID. Once upstairs in the room with my sister, had the nicest nurses! Everyone was so sweet. I introduced myself and the nurses did their thing. My loved one has C.O.P.D.(chronic obstruction pulmonary disease). 12:20 now the lunch food is coming in: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, fruit cup, and ginger ale. The hospital is quiet and clean. I am impressed! Tentative staff!
