Review Part 1. My husband and I moved into the Parkside Apartments in 2023 when it was managed by Sharp Management. From the beginning this property was nothing but one problem after the other. From us not getting the deal we were promised in order to move in, to having to clean the apartment in the July heat with NO AC the day we were scheduled to move in, this entire experience was a nightmare. During our time at this property we went through at least 6 regional managers countless property managers and other supporting staff. This entire property has some major engineering, and plumbing issues. The first unit we had 1007 the AC unit did not drain properly which meant that not only would the AC stop working but it would overflow and leak into the wall and the subfloor beneath the floors. When we got the keys to the unit and walked through the unit we noticed soft spots in the floor when we asked the property manager at the time she stated that the floors are directly on concreate and that it was just a small hole and everything was fine. Over the course of the first year of our lease the spot got bigger and weaker. In addition to this issue we had flooring coming up in the master bathroom which revealed a hole beneath the tub which was reason why the tub dipped (this was reported multiple times and we were told that it was supposed to be that way). The hole was never filled, they instead tore the bathroom up for 3 MONTHS! Putting the toilet in the tub while they “repaired the floors” and threw grout under the tub to “fix” the hole. Late 2023 we were able to get them to replace the floors; however, that meant we were responsible for moving all of the furniture into the rooms with carpet so the contractors to get to the floors. The process to replace the floors took about a week. Once it was done we were left with sticky floors with glue everywhere. While the contractors were working on the floors they allowed us to come and see where they had removed the base molding underneath the indoor AC return vent, and underneath the built in desk across from the second guest bathroom. The wall was riddled with mold. When I told management they said that they would be coming to replace the base trim and the wall and remediate the mold. Of course that never happened. I can only post so much at a time, I'll post the part 2 later.
I can confidently say they are the best property management company I've ever experienced. Their responsiveness to maintenance requests are unparalleled, communication is clear and consistent, and they truly prioritize the well-being of their residents and employees. Every interaction with their team has been professional, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring property manager.
I live at a property managed by this company and I am very happy. The maintenance is done well and timely. The office staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. They even gave me a welcome gift when I moved into my new apartment.
My lease was due April 30th 2022 i gave notice on February 18 2022. I called the office a month later after the notice asking about a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a washer and dryer connection they said they would have some in June that I could do month to month until then. In may I called to see when the apartment would be ready in June then they said they don’t have any available. Why would they tell me June if they wasn’t going to have any. I could have moved out in April when my lease was up so I told them I will be moving she never said that I had to give another notice of anything. I called again to let her know the day I was going to move she said since it was going to be a weekend the office will be closed to leave the key in the office mail box which I did. I moved out June 3 and the apartment office was still billing me until June 27th when I wasn’t in the apartment at those time frames. Next issue is I called the office about roaches that seem to be coming from the apartment next door after a neighbor had moved out and no one came to spray for them. I didn’t have a good experience with this company! I been trying to talk to corporate to get this bill and issues handled but can’t get to them
