Our room was super clean. The bed was super comfortable. We were facing the street and with the air conditioning on, we didn’t notice a lot of street noise. The front desk staff was polite. For the price, it was a great option especially considering the kitchen and second room! It’s an older hotel for sure but it met our needs. We would absolutely consider staying there again. We really needed a plug option on both sides of the bed tho. Thanks for a quick one night stay as we were passing through!

Arbutus Inn is a cozy hotel right on the main drag Douglas Street in Victoria. It was a half hour walk to downtown and there are buses right at the door. A couple of restaurants are practically next door. The rooms were super clean and the management was really helpful. They even stored our luggage for a few hours after we had checked out so that we could do a little more sight seeing before we had to leave. I would stay here again.

Comfortable, clean. Front desk staff (check in and check out) were fantastic. Room was good - microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Clean. AC was appreciated. No elevator - not an issue for me but could be for some! They offered a ground level floor so they're really great about it.

Loved Our Stay at Hotel Arbutus! We had a great experience at Hotel Arbutus in Victoria. The room was super clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. The whole place felt well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the manager was especially kind and welcoming—you can tell they really care about their guests. We’d definitely stay here again!
