Review for Mauzy Properties I worked with Mauzy Properties as my lease management from Oct 2021 to October 2025. They abruptly canceled our agreement because I disagreed with their high maintenance costs and delays in addressing tenant repair issues. As a result, I lost my tenant, forcing me to spend ~$10,000 on new carpet, paint, and home fixes, plus two months of lost rent ($2,650 each). I felt discriminated against due to my communication style— they never answered calls, only sending late-day emails. While I was on vacation in Mexico, I had to coordinate repairs myself. Their lack of responsiveness and unfair cancellation left me frustrated and financially burdened. I’d caution others about their poor communication and support. Since October 2021 I have been doing business with this company and everything was going very well until a problem started with a high pressure valve that controls high water pressure at the entrance (inlet) of my House failed without warning, not because of any problems on my part, it was something implicit in the high pressure valve that controls the water, the high water pressure And this caused high water pressure in the pipes to damage a softener and all the components. This ended up in the whole house including all the equipment that clogged pipes and immediately damaged some equipment which I hired from companies other than this Mauzy company. Since the maintenance or restoration quotes that this company gave me were very expensive, for example For example, changing water filters that I normally change on my own. In 30 minutes it is a job that should not cost more than $50 for someone to do it, they charged me $550Another example is that recently the boiler, the water heater, was damaged and they wanted me to replace it. They quoted me 5300. Another company that I chose separately checked the problem and charged me 430 to repair it, a big difference between 5300 and 430. Many of these problems were paid for by insurance because they were derived from the failure of high water pressure at the entrance of my house that damaged many other things, so since I did not agree with this Company that manages my income Just yesterday they sent me a letter, they didn't even have the pleasure of speaking to me on the phone in person and they canceled the rental management contract by their side, even they never answer my phone calls I felt discriminated, they sent me e mails at the end of the business day 5 pm. They doesn't give me chance to reply on time or promptly. Because according to them the maintenance policies for the house do not match their policies always having excessive costs when they sent their maintenance department And since I did not accept the high costs and quoted two or three more companies and the differences were very large highly difference. So I decided on other suppliers and as a lot of time passed between one contractor and another coming to see the problem, it was much Because this company had to coordinate with those who rent my house for the technician's visit They never answered the phone in person for me during the 3 or 4 almost years that we had service only I received emails. Very disappointed company. I decided not to work again with any traditional management companies because the bad experience written them for me and for my tenants and work with Hemlane instead.
