Second time I've tried to get seen at er and was told to wait in waiting room and stuck sitting in there while everyone who came in after me was called back. I feel like im being discriminated against because i don't have health insurance so they don't feel the need to wait on me so today i walked out after not being called and them taking someone who walked in after i did

Staff is unhelpful. Number 1 priority is the money, try not to end up there. Tried calling their patient advocate to discuss my $1,100 bill for an hour visit. No answer, left multiple voicemails and never got a call back.

Negative 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! One of the Worst hospitals visits with staff members I have ever Had!! Most of the staff members were rude to me and when I kept asking for my mom while she was away, they lied to me about calling her and kept me there for over 6+ hours for simple blood work and testing and screening for suicidal thoughts. And they told me that I wasn't allowed visitors until after my screening was done. On top of that, it took 1 1/2 hours just to get anxiety medication??? When you can clearly see through the window of the nurses station where there were four nurses laughing and talking while I was having SEVERE anxiety and panic attacks where I was PHYSICALLY SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY... And all of you were so busy doing your jobs properly as nurses in your ER DEPARTMENT of all places. If I could give it 0 stars I most absolutely would.. You would think that the staff members would put the CONCERNS ALONG WITH the safety of their patients first, but obviously that's something not being enforced in their ER DEPARTMENT of all places. Will not be trusting staff from this hospital until they improve staffing there... NEGATIVE 5/5 stars.

My dad has been in and out of the hospital through the last nine months, and they have been professional, kind, caring and loving I couldn’t ask for a better hospital to take care of our dad. I can’t say enough kind things about memorial hospital in Abilene. Thank you to everybody who helped make my dad’s stay successful, for all who cared for him and all the kindness that you have shown our family.
