An old style motel, upgraded with modern amenities. The room was small, but fully equipped with fridge, microwave, motion sensor lights, plenty of power outlets, internet, and a clean, modern bathroom. Great price for traveling. When I left Sunday, they had a crew doing asphalt work and landscaping, quietly, keeping things up to date.||It was far cheaper than anything in LaPorte or South Bend, with the game that was in town, but only 10 minutes away.

Honestly, the best little place in Michigan City for an overnight stay. Is it modern? No. Is it a resort? Also, no. But it’s clean and comfortable and the location can’t be beat. It’s out of the main city but close enough that you’re able to get to shopping and attractions. The only thing missing is somewhere to sit other than the bed. A chair and small table would have been nice. Over all, this is a good little place to stay. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future!

Got a room here on an emergency visit, driving home to grand rapids. Accommodation was quick and easy, beds are quite soft and comfy. Seems like a good place in a quiet part of the countryside.

Honestly it was nice and quiet except the kids outside at 8 am haha. I intentionally wanted to be away from the city when I arrived in Michigan City so it's worth it if that's your intent. The rooms themselves were not the greatest. TV and everything are old and may be missing batteries or buttons. Water smelled like copper, probably the plumbing. Service and owners were nice though
