Just a heads up do not take your family to Midland Memorial hospital in Midland. I have been fighting the same bacteria in my kidney since the middle of December. They knew at the 1st of January what the infection was and oral antibiotics would not fix it. They did 3 weeks of oral antibiotics anyway. After the oral antibiotics were done I was still in alot of pain so I came back this time I was admitted for Iv antibiotics. They refused to give me my medication for me being bipolar for the 1st 12 hrs even though they were told what meds I was on for me being bipolar. They are refusing to adequately treat the pain the house supervisor Jennifer even went as far as saying Im suicidal and was gonna put me with a sitter. Im not suicidal and I told them this. Jennifer also informed me and the security guards I could leave ama if I wanted to. Anyone that knows anything about medicine knows once a patient is deemed suicidal they are put on a emergency detention order and held against their will. Im still in severe pain and being treated horribly because the staff don't want to do their jobs. The only time I was a risk was for the 12 hrs I was off my psych meds. During that time I was left alone in a hospital rm. I literally asked to go to the restroom and I have to be watched like a criminal because Im supposedly suicidal even though less than a 5 hrs ago I was mentally stable enough to sign myself out of the hospital ama. Please someone make this make sense. I really dont know where to turn here I haven't acted out or done anything that could be taken as a threat towards myself but Im being treated worse than a suicidal patient in tdcj on Cdo or constant direct observation. These people are causing flashbacks to whe I was incarcerated and Something needs to be done different the Healthcare in this area is a joke. Please if you know any attorneys who would be interested let me know. Its not even to sue its basically to make these medical providers change. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect instead of being treated horribly and like criminals by the medical providers we are supposed to trust.

I just left the emergency room with my daughter - I arrived at 5 and 10 pm - I spent 2 hours in the lobby - they took me to a bed in a hallway - the time it was time a doctor came and asked her some questions and after 2 more hours the nurse arrives with 2 pills and a test - without another exam -to say that it is Covid and the doctor did not appear to give me the exit papers. Almost 7 hours and my daughter, almost unable to walk and with neurological symptoms, left there for another clinic

I had a very positive experience during our visit. The staff was kind, professional, and very patient. They made the process smooth and treated my child with care, which I really appreciated as a parent. Thank you for the excellent service.
