I recently had the pleasure of dining at Barbary in London, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with rich flavors and crafted with evident care. The restaurant’s ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, adding to the warm vibe of the place. However, our seating area was directly opposite the kitchen, which made it noticeably warm as there was no air-conditioning vent covering that section. Despite this, the lively view of the bustling kitchen added an engaging touch to our dining experience. Barbary’s unique blend of delectable cuisine and welcoming environment truly stood out. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant dining spot in London, but perhaps request a table a bit farther from the kitchen if you're sensitive to heat.

This was certainly a meal to remember! Really cool layout and absolutely amazing food. I love a meal were I truly struggle to decide what I like most because its all so delicious - and this was one of them. From the Moroccan Cigars to the Black Salmon and Lamb Ribs to the Cherry Keskul and Hashcake. DO NOT SLEEP on the Hashcake! It was a wonderful way to end the evening.

Loved the way that the bar is situated around the kitchen were you can see how each dish is prepared. Kitchen moves really quickly. Enjoyed every dish that we ordered: the naan with cod spread, cauliflower with onions is a MUST! We had the salmon which had a light and savoury sauce, the mushrooms and the pistachio dessert. Delicious.

This is a 5 star establishment without doubt. Location, cleanliness and the intimacy is fantastic. Went with a friend and we both enjoyed every aspect of it. The level of care and attention given to the food by the chef was brilliant. She'd prepare it fresh in front of you before walking over to serve it, explaining what the dish was, the ingredients and their intended purpose, both individually and collectively to the overall experience. Although not a huge number of dishes on the menu, they are incredibly complex and fabulously flavoursome. The culinary journey you were taken on really transported you to different parts of the world. This review is a little late so they probably won't serve this anymore till Christmas, but the mince pies were fabulous! Already planning my next visit. Can't wait to see you guys again!
