From the moment you arrive, the Connaught and all its history welcome you. The doormen and staff are the most welcoming, ready to help you and with the biggest smile. The facilities overall are excellent. The decoration of the restaurant deserves special mention. Now onto the main event, the food and the proposals of Darroze are always excellent. In these pictures you can see the spring menu. Albeit not taking dramatic risks, every plate hits a perfect note that will stay with you for days. Worth mentioning the pricing is very fair for the excellent quality provided, which is greatly appreciated. I recommend it to anyone and I will continue to visit.

The food was very good but I didn't think it was particularly outstanding. Paid £125 for 3 course lunch but we actually got way more! Mushroom soup palate cleanser, bread, amuse bouche, appetizer, main course, palate cleanser sorbet, dessert, plus free sweets at the end. Service was impeccable. They confused our orders for dessert but the server made up for it by joking and saying they are just testing if we still remember our orders. Overall very good, no complaints, just gave minus 1 star because it wasn't super wow like i was anticipating 😅

Just came back from our London trip and have to say the lunch at Helene Darroze was definitely the highlight of the trip. I arrived early and was assisted to our table where the sommelier patiently answered my questions. The wine suggested ( Chassagne Montrachet) was perfect and everyone enjoyed it. The lunch menu was well worth the price. We were a group of 6, so everyone got to try all the items on the menu. From the starter to the dessert, not a single dish disappointed. We mentioned beforehand that I was a pescetarian, and ingredients were adjusted to accommodate me. Most restaurants would literally just "take out" the meat and be done with it. The service was also friendly and not pretentious at all. It was attentive, but not intrusive. Servers made sure everyone was comfortable. We honestly didn't notice that almost 3 hours had passed. Highly recommended.

The Connaught remains a benchmark, and Hélène Darroze's table is a testament to why. It's fascinating to see the palate's evolution here; this latest visit revealed a confident weaving of more aromatic, easterly notes into her classic, product-led French foundation. The signature selection of the core ingredient remains a masterstroke, grounding the experience in a personal choice. Service is, as ever, impeccable – a seamless choreography that never intrudes, set within a cocoon of quiet luxury. Effortless, exceptional, and entirely sure of itself. A London essential.
