Motel 6 Berea, KY

This place charges 65.00 a night and it's not worth it! No respectable person would ever stay here unless they have no other place to go. I had a family member living here for several months. It's nasty! Bathrooms are disgusting. The cold water wasn't cold, it was luke warm. The Parking lot is disgusting, there is no way they clean it. I went to visit my cousin and there was dog feces right in front of her door! She does not have a dog!! They should at the very least offer weekly rates for the ones that have to live there. I'm soo glad she found a place to go. The place is well known for drug activity. Something needs to change.

I gave it 4 stars because I have stayed in Doubletrees before and as decent as this hotel was its not a doubletree. KB is a good owner and is in the process of upgrading rooms. I am giving an honest review because I read reviews while at home and was not to sure about this place. I am a constuction worker and my standards are middle of the road. I am happy with my room and the price and how close to TVA it is. Bed is comfortable Fridge and freezer work good and the water is very hot in shower. As for bugs your in the middle of the woods in Kentucky there is gonna be bugs. I haven't seen any bugs and I have been here for 2 weeks so far, No issues there

Positive: Room was really clean. Bathroom also. For being an older Motel it wasn't bad. It's not the Holiday Inn, but it was clean, bed was good. The room looked better than the property. Negative: ""
