Room 200 AC didn’t power on. Shower control valve worked for cold but turn it to hot the water flow cuts out. The nighttime staff guy was helpful in getting into another room. I booked through the choice app for a quality inn but when I arrived the building had Super 8 signs on it. Staffer said they are rebranding soon.

One rant: Room was like a sauna when I arrived and took hours to cool down. When I only have 4 hours to sleep and it takes 2 hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature I'd rather stay someplace else. As a diamond member I suggest you use this information productively. 😉

We booked this room on the hotel website a few weeks in advance of the trip we were taking. We booked for two nights. We came to check in at about one in the morning and they couldn’t find our reservation, even though we brought up our email with all of the information in it. The guy who is helping us, who is incredibly slow and not apologetic at all, had someone come over to help. She confirmed that we not were in there. They were going to start a new reservation, but would not honor the price that we had booked at, wanting to charge us about $80 more over two nights. They called the owner or the manager, couldn’t tell which, and he wouldn’t even let them explain the situation. He just said he would not honor the price that we were quoted on the actual website itself. We were glad we didn’t end up staying. It was very shabby and dirty. About three cars in the parking lot. Terrible experience.

Prior to the trip i was nervous about the reviews i was reading. And honestly i believe those reviews may have been false and exaggerated. I booked through Expedia, is was about 6-8 minutes away from where our family lives. And really close to the town of Sturgis. We stayed here for 3 days, upon arrival check in was quick and easy. Our room was CLEAN!!! And smelled heavenly, we had an amazing smoke free room, we have been to many many hotels in the past that claim they are but have a faded smoke smell, but our room smelled like cleaner or some kind of febreeze. We booked two rooms for 7 people, 2 beds in each room.( me, my partner, my parents and my sisters) no complaints. The family working at this hotel was lovely, they were quick, friendly, and always made sure we were taken care of! Will book here again. Only thing i wish this place had was a pool!
