Customer experiences
On then end of a music-history tour that began in Nashville, TN, we ended up here in New Orleans, LA. The biggest draw of this hotel is its incredible location-- cross Canal St. and you're into the French Quarter. I know. Basic features all all great: clean rooms, friendly service, terrific view from the 22nd floor. We missed a tour breakfast one morning and opted to try a lunch-time meal at the ground floor bar, and that's the only minor complaint of the stay. Service was slow for that (it wasn't particularly busy), and the flatbread was all right. But all said, this was a wonderful place to end the trip. A hotel that pushes all the right buttons, and you simply can't beat the location.
I really like this hotel — it’s my second week-long stay. I really appreciate the smart elevators! This is an excellent conference location. The food is excellent and healthy. The staff friendly and room maintained well. The Meeting spaces very comfortable with good acoustics. The banquet food and service one of the best I’ve experienced. You cannot beat this location and access to French Quarter.
The lobby is so inviting and spacious, but also has a cozy feel to it at the same time. The hotel and event staff were always very attentive and gracious with their time and attention to details. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and we will definitely be back.
This is a big hotel but comfortable. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which was nice. The location was great as I could walk right to the river and the shops. I upgraded to the lounge pass which was nice to get coffee and food throughout the day. I was surprised how small the outdoor pool was as it was on a roof top and very, very small. I assume this is business hotel and not geared towards families. This didn't affect my stay at all though. I traveled with a group of over 100 people and I don't think anyone had any issues.
Motel 6 Monroe, LA is a motel.
