Ricardo EI rarely take the time to leave reviews, so you know this is important. First and foremost, be aware that all their cars come with a mandatory prep fee of $4,000. That’s why the car you’re eyeing seems like such a “good deal.” They can call it whatever they want, but let’s be honest—this kind of practice is shady no matter what. I drove all the way from Massachusetts to look at a car, fully aware of their questionable prep fee. Despite this, the deal still worked for me. Since I have some negative equity, I was asked to put money down to offset it, and I complied. I paid the money, had my credit pulled, and the car was being prepped. My insurance agent was even in the process of switching the policy to cover the new car. Then, out of nowhere, their so-called “A1” mechanic magically discovered several stored codes. And guess what? They wanted me to pay an additional $2,000 to offset that issue. After the deal was basically done. Here’s the kicker: my current car is in immaculate condition. It even has paint protection film (PPF) and is still under the manufacturer’s warranty. Yet somehow, all these problems conveniently arose *after* I had already paid and spent the better part of my day trying to finalize this “deal.” In my opinion, don’t waste your time. You’re better off taking your business anywhere
