I had the opportunity to interact Nxt Property Management during a time when its core values-- integrity, honesty and a commitment to doing what's right-- were at the heart of its culture. It was once an organization that prided itself on supporting its teams, serving its residents with genuine care, and upholding strong ethical standards across all levels. Unfortunately, it is disheartening to witness the direction the company has taken in recent times. The foundational values that once defined Nxt Property Management have seemingly eroded. On-site teams are struggling due to noticeable lack of support, and internal systems are failing to provide accurate reporting-- ultimately misleading owners and failing those who rely on them most. Equally concerning is the growing pattern of resident and staff exploitation. The pressure to deliver unrealistic results has led to what appears to be inaccurate reporting and a disregard for the long-term well-being of both employees and residents. These issues not only compromise operational integrity but also undermine the trust of all stakeholders involved. The shift in culture has resulted in a significant turnover, with many dedicated professionals choosing to leave-- disheartened by the disconnect between the company's current practices and the principles it once stood for. It is sad to see a company with such promise and potential move in this direction. I sincerely hope that leadership takes a moment to reflect and realign with the values that once made Nxt a truly outstanding place to work.

NXT Property Management is absolutely awful. Our air conditioning went out, and the whole experience showed just how unqualified they are to manage property. Day 1: They assured us the technician they sent knew the property inside and out. He spent the entire day here, and the only thing that got done was replacing air filters—nothing to actually fix the AC. Day 2: They finally sent a real HVAC technician, who immediately said the system required a Mitsubishi certified repair person. Day 4: After more waiting, a Mitsubishi technician arrived only to tell us this was a commercial unit and he wasn’t authorized to repair it. On top of that, the garage was janky—it wouldn’t go all the way up and actually scratched the top of the car. Four days wasted, no progress, and damage to our vehicle in the process. It’s clear NXT has no clue what they’re doing. If they can’t handle something as basic as coordinating the right technician for an AC unit or making sure a garage door works, how can they possibly manage a property? Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. To make matters worse, they offered no form of compensation or even attempt to correct the situation. Heaven forbid any future guest have an issue-I can say 100% certainty that NXT will do ABSOLUTELY nothing to reassure guest satisfaction.

Avoid NXT if possible. The pool is literally green. When i inquired for a timeline about the fix, i was told they need to order a part and that’s what is taking so long. (it’s been 12 days, overnight the part). Garage doors have been broken for 13 days, stuck wide open in downtown SLC. We’ve had issues with break ins in the past, but that doesn’t seem to be a concern for the property manager. I was told they will not accommodate the pricing and that they’re working with a third party company, so “it’s not really on us”. Insane statement to say to a tenant. Oh the garage door isn’t your fault because a third party company YOU HIRE isn’t coming out? Find a new company my god. The lack of urgency and efficiency is mind blowing. They also closed my maintenance request without actually fixing my dryer. So now i’m just waiting to hear from someone? Maybe? I doubt it frankly. Also, the unit above mine is being rented out as an airbnb? Renting out a place you rent is insane and should explicitly break lease terms. Instead, i was asked to help them make the case against the people who own that unit? What???? Massively frustrating paying an arm and a leg to live in a community that takes care of these things, and they just…don’t.
