From the moment I walked into the lobby of the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort, I was captivated by the incredible view of downtown Victoria across the water. It was a fantastic first impression. I stayed in a corner king room with a water view, and it was perfect. The room itself was very clean, and the view was simply amazing. Seeing the city lights at night from the window was truly breathtaking. While the building is a bit older, it is clearly very well-maintained. The location is one of its best features. It was incredibly convenient to take a water taxi right to the hotel's doorstep after a day of sightseeing. It's also just a short and pleasant 10-minute walk across the bridge to Chinatown, making it very accessible. The hotel lounge was another highlight. The breakfast was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised that the evening service included delicious options like chicken wings and curry. Overall, my stay was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this resort for its stunning views and fantastic location.

Wonderful. It has been a while since we stayed at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Victoria Ocean Point Resort. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds, freshly painted walls and new floors. Bathroom was spotless. Also very quiet. The front service staff was friendly and helpful. Very happy with the updates they have made. Only disappointment was the restaurant had no ramp going into the restaurant. I have mobility problems so it was difficult for me to use the stairs.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had a great experience. If you have a harbour view room then you’ll be treated to a superb view. We were able to watch sea planes and boats from our room and it was great. The room we had was well cleaned and fairly modern. I’d recommend booking this hotel if you’re visiting Victoria.

Our stay at the Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort was wonderful from the moment we checked in until (sadly) we had to leave to return home. Every member of the staff was friendly, charming and helpful - from the front desk staff to the Lure hostess to our waiter at breakfast. We have not recently felt as welcome or well-cared for!||The location is perfect - you are across the harbor from The Empress, the Parliament buildings, and the lights of the city at night. Victoria has put a lot of effort into making its waterfront accessible. There is a walkway that is nearly continuous along the waterfront, and some comfortable seating areas and small parks along the way. It goes right in front of this hotel, making it a relatively short walk from the ferries from either Seattle or Port Angeles.||There is a lovely outdoor seating area on the sixth floor which provides a lovely view of the harbor. We sat in the Adirondack chairs for several hours around sunset enjoying beverages and food from their Lure restaurant that we brought up. ||Victoria is such a fun, walkable city. We were only gone overnight, but felt like we’d been gone a week! We highly recommend taking the regional bus #75 from Douglas & Pandora Streets up to the Butchart Gardens. We enjoyed dinner and some excellent Irish music on Monday night at Spinnaker’s Brewpub just down the walking trail from the hotel. The Royal BC Museum is always interesting as is the Emily Carr House, and there are many parks and water access points along the coast. If you are bicyclists, the Galloping Goose Bike trail goes from Victoria to Sooke, and is supposed to be fabulous. Lots to do in Victoria.
