I just wanna say that I have been with this management since October 2022. When we first moved in they didn’t have the best person overseeing the units but they have gotten a new person in office and she is just killing it. Did all the work my rental needed and she has been so fast in getting back to me and just so kind and friendly. I really appreciate her for working with me and absolutely love renting here with them. Shout out to JOAN for really doing an awesome job!

I would not recommend anyone renting from this property management company. They charge ridiculously high deposits both for the basic deposit and pet deposit. They require that you pay to have the carpets cleaned before you move out which I have never experienced in my many years of renting. The apartment I rented had many cosmetic problems with broken cupboard doors that would never stay shut, damaged counters, and poorly repaired and painted walls. The whole building was also sinking into the ground which made the steps too high. My mother ended up falling on the damaged cement and getting very bruised up. I will admit that my animals broke some blinds in the apartment and I refused to pay to have the carpets cleaned because that is is the landlords job, but the cost of these things would be nowhere near the $2400 deposit we paid. It’s been a month since I moved and I have yet to get any more of my deposit back. I’m also highly disappointed in the immature manner in which the company responds to poor reviews. It is unprofessional at best and childish at worst. Find somewhere else to rent, I promise you will be happier. Edit... I did not realize my roommate had left property in the home upon move out and I apologize for that. However the property was not remodeled, the only new things were cheap flooring and ceiling fans. I will attach photos I took of the place when I moved in. All that was ruined were the blinds and some damage to the walls. If you could give me a detailed invoice of what was ruined and how much it took to repair I promise it was not $2400 Edit #2. Oakwood has no physical address making it nearly impossible to serve them with legal paperwork for their violation of Utah Code Sections 57-17-3. Update- I just received a back dated disposition of deposit claiming that we knew about a leak it dishwasher and never notified hem and they are now charging additional money from us. They knew there was a leak somewhere based on the downstairs complaining of endless leaks. They sent two repair men into our kitchen. My roommate told them that the dishwasher could potentially be a problem. The did nothing to fix it. That is on Oakwood. The over all piping in the house was awful. That is not on us.

In march of 2026 my husband and I have be renting are duplex for 4 years i had no issues sense Joanne has taken over.She always follows up after a work order has been placed.She make sure they come out in a tiny manner.Thank you joanne and oakwood for being an awesome management company
