Omni Severin Hotel

Our stay was amazing. The room was clean and so pretty. Birdies is the most beautifully designed space in the city, in my opinion, and the food both there and Arbor was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. |It was also so fun to be right in the middle of all our favorite downtown restaurants and hangout spots. |We did take the bikes out as well! Such a fun perk to have those available.

We were in town to catch a show at the Embassy. The hotel is pretty, and smells nice. Appears clean. Artwork is neat. Prior to checkout we attempted to have breakfast at the Arbor. We waited at the host stand for 10 minutes for someone to notice us and there was only 2 other customers in the restaurant. When we sat she didn't know if they could make our drinks and they were out of all the food options we wanted to try. So we decided to checkout and go elsewhere. On checkout we asked for our valet receipt and were very upset to find out someone had charged a visit to Birdies and The Arbor to our room. We had never been to the Arbor and while we did visit Birdies before the show, we paid out of pocket there and never gave room information to anyone. Vic was good about refunding and providing a different receipt. However it was very disheartening that anyone can seemingly go in and charge anything to whatever room they choose without ID verification.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for business since March 2025 and the hotel has gone downhill. The rooms are nice, but it’s clear that they aren’t being touched up to maintain their quality. The cleanliness of the rooms has decreased, and during my last stay there were parts of the room where it was clear hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. There was a wrapper left on the counter in the bathroom, and the travel size lotion had clearly been used with a hair attached to it. If you travel for work, you know how disappointing it is when you find a reliable hotel just to lose it.
