My Scotsman ice maker had issues, so after some research, I chose On-Time Appliance due to the positive reviews and the fact that they are local. I was able to make an appointment pretty quickly, despite the upcoming holiday. Wayne was straightforward, professional, and conscientious. He quickly identified the problem and explained it in a way that I, with no background knowledge about appliances, could easily understand. Most importantly, Wayne told me the exact price of the part and the cost of labor, and that is exactly what I paid. Not a cent more. Finally, he worked efficiently, respecting my time. I highly recommend On-Time Appliance and plan to call them when I need another repair.

Wayne and his dad have both taken care of our appliance repair needs for the past 10+ years. On-Time Appliance is a family business and Wayne took over the business when his father retired. They have repaired the water dispenser and the ice dispenser on our Whirlpool refrigerator. Recently (May 7, 2024) our Maytag dryer (40 years old) started making noise and leaving stains on the laundry. I purchased the parts from a local parts distributor. They included 2 guides and 2 rollers for the drum, 1 belt tension roller, new belt, new felt strips on the drum. Wayne installed them, did not charge a 'trip' fee and charged a very reasonable price. He told me he could have obtained the parts for less than I paid, so next time I need help, I will ask him to handle the parts. Now our Maytag dryer runs like a new machine!

This is not the first time we have used Wayne and On-Time Appliance, but it's the first time that I have left a review. Wayne came to our home to evaluate (and fix) our Ice Making machine. He came the same day we called, and was "on time", repaired what needed to be repaired, and did so without suggesting things that may be for another future day. My wife and I are thankful that we found this self-owned company and individual, and hope that this very positive review of his work and ethic will allow any who are looking to feel confident in choosing and calling On-Time Appliance! Wayne was very responsive in phone/text. Was happy to walk us thru the repair on the phone, but we chose to have him come out. He was able to do a same day appt as he was in the area! While doing a dryer repair, he also showed me quick maintenance tips on my washer, dishwasher, fridge and stove! Showed me something I didn’t even know about my own appliance!! 1 yr guarantee on his work! Will call him again if we have something break. Reasonable and fair trip charge and repairs.
