I am so grateful for the Neptune Society being there for me in my time of need. I want to give Christopher Shields the funeral director at the Sherman Oaks location a huge shout out as my family and I were given so much care, support and love with my mother's cremation services. Christopher provided excellent customer service and one of the most beautiful and amazing services to honor my mother that I could have ever expected or imagined. Very disappointing experience. The manager who helped us seemed very compassionate at the first meeting though he did not bother to check to see that we prepaid so the presentation was not ready. He me the 2nd week to say that the ashes would be available next week. I appreciated the call. A few days later I emailed him to ask him to That’s write a letter stating that the death certificates weren’t ready because I didn’t want to lose the money for our flights and I got no response. By Thursday of the week the manager Chris said The death certificate and that was gonna be ready and I hadn’t heard from them, I emailed to see if I was supposed to just come over. I got a curt email I didn’t even include my name saying they will call me when it’s time. By the following Tuesday, I still have not heard from him so I sent an email expressing my discontent about not responding to my email with the letter and the current response when I inquired about the ashes. He didn’t even apologize. He just said that they had the ashes and had me schedule an appointment. And he didn’t even have the nerve to meet with us. He had to meet with another employee, not the manager like he was, and when we saw him as we were exiting, he said hi and again didn’t even apologize for his lack of communication and compassion.

Noisy staff working and chatting. Lots of dish noise right by kitchen door. But presentation and presenter both very good - concise, well prepared, professional. Helpful.

My experience with Neptune was very positive. Christina was helpful, kind, thoughtful and understanding and helped me navigate through the process. I felt well cared for and everything fell into place so I had no need to worry . I appreciate the care I experienced and would recommend Neptune services.
