Staying here for 2 weeks for work. One way entrance and exit very frustrating when you have to circle the block because someone was leaving the same time you’re arriving. Room service is nice they come daily. We had hard wood floors compared to our other rooms we had reserved which were carpet. The reason being is because they have broken window seals in our room which flooded our room and made a disaster to everything we had on the floor. They moved us to another room….. with hard wood floors. We had the same experience with the second room with flooding. We all skip the breakfast. Hotel WiFi is terrible on all three floors. Pool and hot tub are closed off, it seems will never be operating after seeing previous reviews.

Note to self...read everything when booking, and call ahead to inquire about listed amenities. Was surprised to hear the pool and hot tub were closed, but now seeing reviews that indicate it appears to be a chronic problem and possibly even closed for at least a solid year. It is very disappointing when part of the cost of the stay is because of that amenity. I was surprised by the $100 required deposit...this only seems to be the private owners of the Choice Hotels, which I tend to avoid because they make their own rules. Another one of those rules that really took me off guard and is NOT listed on the website or in the app, is they took a photocopy of my drivers license stating there had been an incident that involved the cops in the past so they do it with all of their guests now. He assured me it would be shredded in 3-4 months...like that was supposed to put me at ease. The room was a nice size and the important parts were clean. (I really wish all hotels would get rid of carpet..it is so gross!). The green chair needs to be thrown out as it was disgustingly dirty, the desk chair was in major disrepair and needs to be replaced before someone gets hurt falling off it, the 15 TV stations available sucked, the only ice maker on site was out of ice or broken despite the front desk saying it worked but offered no assistance. The fridge/freezer was a nice size that allowed space for a bag of ice from the gas station next door. The breakfast was okay, but I had to go through drawers and cabinets to restock spoons and forks, and that was after asking for more napkins to be put out. Smoke free building should include weed, which the whole building smelled very strong of in the evenings. We drove at least 20 minutes away for everything we did so I can't comment on the area except it was convenient to I70. I am thankful to have already gotten my deposit back after reading some reviews where people have had difficulties with this.

Positive: The hotel offers breakfast and the staff are very polite. Location is idea for me. I love the hot tubs within the room that was selected. Negative: The one thing I didnt like and was kinda stomach turning was the smell of the room. I had never had any issues in the past with that issue.

This is a nice 2-star hotel. Nothing fancy. The small pool was under renovation in 2025. They offer a limited breakfast, but at least you can make a waffle and get scrambled eggs and sausage. ||The rooms are decent, though I did hear my neighbors. ||It felt safe enough and was in a good location for my trip.
