A RWe all had an amazing time at the Gun Barrel tonight. The restaurant is beautiful and incredibly unique inside. You definitely feel like you're out west. The service was great, and the food was off the charts. I had the elk steak, which was excellent. My son had the bison bbq ribs, which may have been the best bbq that I have ever had. I couldn't recommend that dish and this place highly enough. The experience was out of this world!

Seana GunnOf all of the great places to eat in Jackson, I was bummed that we wasted a dinner at Gun Barrel. Don’t get me wrong - it’s not bad, but it’s really nothing special. The buffalo prime rib was good, the buffalo ribs were smothered in so much BBQ sauce that they were barely edible. The restaurant has a peculiar smell, which was off putting. All in all, it’s not a bad place to visit but I wouldn’t put it on my list of recommendations in JH.
Dallas WareWe celebrated our anniversary at Gun Barrel Steak and Game House, and it was an incredible experience! The service was top-notch—our servers were both professional and polite. The food was outstanding. My wife had the Wagyu steak, and I opted for the Elk Loin—both were absolutely delicious. Their drink selection was superb as well. I was pretty worn out after a long day, and though I didn’t see coffee on the menu, the staff kindly fixed me up with a cup, complete with cream and honey, which allowed me to fully enjoy the rest of the evening. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you have a love for the Wild West—it’s the perfect place to feed that fire. We’ll definitely be coming back!
