I’m seeing Akib for physiotherapy TL;DR: My experience at this clinic has been a pleasant one and they’ve delivered a level of care that exceeded my expectations I was experimenting an exercise when my entire lower back shot in pain. I couldn’t stand, lay down, or drag myself on the ground without excruciating pain. I managed to find one position that didn’t shake my entire body. At this point I thought I permanently wouldn’t be able to walk again I managed to sleep and was able to walk in pain and twitching/spasming the next morning. I went to Emergency first thing in the morning. My bones were okay and was told I’m experiencing really bad muscle spasms. I was on Advil all the time, but it barely made a difference I’ve seen multiple physiotherapists in the past, but chose to revisit Akib as my family doctor originally referred me to him. I didn’t have much hope in the condition I was in, but now I’m working out and sitting in the lotus position He’s very intelligent, knowledgeable, and practical I truly can’t believe my physical state today from when I first walked in I feel this type of treatment should be covered by OHIP from its effectiveness
