Where to even begin... the only reason I'm giving it a star is because staff was friendly, which I really like about places. However, this place needs to be shown some more love and care. I came here with my Husband and parents. Firstly, I would not recommend this place if you or someone you're traveling with has a vision or walking disability. We got 2 seperate rooms, one for my parents ( both who have a disability) and one for my Husband and I. Both rooms turned out to be on the second floor, with no elevator to be found we had to take the stairs, which were hardly lit at all, and made it difficult for my parents to get to their room. So, if you're traveling with someone who struggles going up stairs or has some kind of vision impairment I would not recommend this place. Secondly, the room my parents got smelled horrid of cigarettes, so bad it burned my nostrils. The rooms looked okay upon first walking in, but then we saw the bathroom... MOLD, ROACHES and occasional silver fish were found. The rooms are cheap, and it shows.... they need to invest in the property. Cheap and still not worth the price.

This place is cheap but honestly the money saved isn't worth it. There is a boarded-up Shoney's in front - not their fault, obviously, but it does nothing for the motel's curb appeal. They definitely have a moisture problem... my room smelled funky, the carpet stayed damp, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, and every metal surface in my room was rusty. The towels in my room when I arrived were super thin, scratchy, and stained, one of them with what looked and smelled like fresh coffee stains. Gross. They do have a pool but it was dirty. They allow pets, which is probably the main reason anyone stays there. I know they can't monitor whether dog owners are cleaning up after their dogs or not, but they certainly didn't have anyone looking after the grounds as there were piles of dog poop all over the place. Also, the cleaning staff starts cleaning the rooms very early - so unless you hang a 'do not disturb ' sign at your door, you will be woken up before 8:00 a.m. I understand they have a job to do, but loud knocking on your door at 7:30-8:00 a.m. is kind of ridiculous. Finally, it was rude and irritating that they called my room and also came to my door PRIOR to 11:00 a.m. checkout, to make sure I was leaving as scheduled. I've never had that happen at any other hotel, and believe me, I had no desire to stay there even an extra minute This place is just overall gross and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Don’t book here!!! I stayed at this property for 6 days and got bit by bedbugs. Was moved to another room after telling management that I had bite marks on my arms feet and hands and it was worse. Mattress close to the headboard was full of hair, food and roach body parts. Restroom was dirty full of hair and urine behind the toilet.

We booked a room for four days online. When we got to the room, it was easy to get checked in. The problem was when we got to the room. Everything in the room Had mold. It smelt like a flooded basement that’s been sitting for years. It was so funky. The covers was nasty. She tried to switch us to a different room from the B building to the A building. And the same thing except these rooms smelled like straight butt. This was the fungus experience I have ever experienced and I will never try a red roof Inn again first and last time ever! And the pool that was supposed to be ready was green and nasty!
