You guys need to have more in net work surgeons/doctors, I’m looking into getting a different insurance that covers more. And not wait I have to have surgery to deny my pre-authorization stating "we are not in-network" with said provider! You guys are some of the worst insurances I have ever had. when the doctors office looked up in their system that regence BCBS was in fact in net work with them!!! DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE if you want to be screwed in the end.

They can't find my name in the system I guess I have insursnce thru my employer with the company but from all reviews seems like a joke.. they can't find me.. I got nothing in the mail.. and they are taking it out of my paycheck already! I really need tonsil surgery but looks like that won't be happening

All I have is my experience, but I needed help getting a copy of a letter that I had thrown away in order to appeal for a prescription. Stacy helped me and was very kind and patient. She had to look through documents, so she took my email and said she would keep looking. She called back about 10 minutes later to say she had found the letter and also told me what to expect with a secure email. I really appreciate Stacy and her helpfulness!

Very understaffed, very slow to process claims. My significant other had a baby in October, doctor submitted all the claims by early December. We're still waiting for a approved or denied notice at the end of March. It's Utah law that they have 30 days to respond with a decision or give written notice that they need a 15 day extension due to circumstances out of their control--they've had almost 4 months and nothing, regardless of pestering. It's always "should be done in a week" or "it's been sent to our expedited team" or whatever, but they won't do their job or even provide details on what's taking so long.
